Primo Pro - Red Stoneware with Grog - 10kg

A strong, lightly grogged stoneware body ideal for slabbing and sculpting medium to large forms. Contains 25% grog (up to 0.5 mm), giving excellent structure and workability. Fires to warm tones ranging from pale terracotta to plum.

Maximum firing temperature: 1200°C
Total shrinkage: 12% at 1080°C, 14% at 1180°C
Water absorption: 7% at 1080°C, 2.5% at 1180°C

Note: Absorption below 5% is generally suitable for outdoor sculpture.
