This beginner-friendly workshop is all about having fun and giving pottery a go under the guidance of our expert tutors. No experience needed—just bring your sense of adventure!
The Details
What You'll Do:
Get two attempts on the pottery wheel to create a cup and a bowl. Choose your favourite piece to keep, and we'll fire and glaze it in your choice of four colours. Love both? Keep them both for just $20 extra.
What's Included:
Your $75 ticket covers all your clay, both firings, professional instruction, and serious bragging rights. Just BYO your favourite drink!
How to Book or Gift A
Wheel & Wine
Our workshops are released at the start of each month.
First we put the dates up on our bookings site for preview. We do this so that you can decide on the date that works for you without worrying that you are not going to have enough time to book.
Then on the specified date, using the same link they will be bookable.
To gift a session, simply buy a voucher below and the receiver can choose their session when they're ready!

FAQ
Collecting your work
Finished work will be available to collect 3 - 4 weeks after your class. We will send you an email when your work is ready to be picked up. All completed work must be collected from The Clay Centre within 6 weeks of receiving your collection email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks due to space constraints.

Can I bring my child?
Unfortunately not as this is an R18 Event. However, check out our Coffee & Clay Workshop, perfect for ages 9 and up!
Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! It's designed as a stress-free, fun introduction to pottery.
Can I book a private event?
Yes! Private events are available for groups of 12-16 people. Click the link in our navigation bar
