Mac’s Mud Buff (MB2) is a traditional iron-bearing, plastic midfire clay body made from 100% New Zealand clays. It offers excellent throwing and handbuilding performance for small to large work.
Key Changes from Original Mac’s Buff:
- Slightly higher shrinkage
- More vitreous at cone 6
- Higher thermal expansion for improved glaze fit
- Note: Firing above cone 10 may cause warping or bloating; testing is recommended.
